White Wine Vinegar

My Bike cover flew away the other day in stormy weather and new place doesn't have a garage. As a result, the outer plates on my bike's chain had become rusty from the bike being out in the rain for a few days..

I put some white wine vinegar on a rag and gave the chain a good rub and scrub with a brush, then washed it off, dryed and sprayed it with some fish oil spray. It looked like new afterwards!

This fish oil is great! My new cover hasn't arrived yet, so the bike has been out in the rain for a few more days and there is no rust build up at all.

The white wine vinegar is really good at removing rust, try some if you have it in the kitchen, just remember to rinse it off afterwards!
