I once bought a complete head for UNDER $150 on ebay (relying on memory, don't remember cost without looking it up). I planed on rebuilding an engine, but I never used it. If you don't find another solution, PM me. It's complete with valves, but I'll want to verify it has caps and all parts before officially offering it.
EDIT: post pics of the underside. I wonder if you could get away with reusing yours, but it's difficult to make out by the image you posted.
