I suspect we'll have 400 and 650 for some years to come, it seems like a comfortable arrangement. Personally I think the 400 packs more punch than needed for new riders. I guess Kawasaki will leave the super entry market to cbr300, r3, and gsx250. I am sort of half expecting that Yamaha will up their ante to 400cc when the R3 is refreshed.
