I just opened them up and wired them to a 9v battery, everything seems to work well and the remote works all the way across the house with the door shut to my room. It seems to cycle through all the combinations with 1 button which can be tedious

. the components do seem a little on the cheap side but it does come with a small fuse in the hot wire as well. They are supposed to be real bendy and flexible but I wouldn't bend them too much; they feel like they could break if I do. Over all for $55 it seems decent so far but I'll see after I put them on the bike and let you know.
