Might be a liability thing if the passenger seat pops off. It's the one thing I'm concerned with when people talk about using the passenger seat as the mounting point. Dont get me wrong, I think it's the perfect way, just need another form of reinforcement so the locking mechanism isnt the only thing holding it on.
