Seeing as it comes/goes w/ the clutch and seeing your using cheap oil.
I would change that first and see if the whine stops.
I've seen a few times people have weird issues w/ clutch using cheaper oil.
Sometimes is helps to remember the KISS method....Other than that I'm of no use to ya.
