Can't confirm, but I've heard the same.
I ride an N300 now, and thinking in getting a 400.
The lack of interchangeability of aftermarket parts is discouraging.
It looks like starting all over again.
What I've heard so far is:
Levers, OK.
Sprockets, OK
Pipe, not ok
Power commander, not ok.
Suspension, not ok.
Clip ons, not ok.
Again, what I've heard. I don't have an N400
