I get a false neutral quite often when riding high revs. Either up and down shifting.

The clutch on my 300 has never slipped. The biggest problem I had was the transmission jumping out of gear. It had a particularly bad habit of doing it under hard braking and usually just when you were tipping into a corner. The sudden loss of engine braking at a critical time was very disconcerting.
The heavier detent spring solved 99% of the problems though
