Unless you are planning on racing, leather may be a poor choice for your local climate, characterized by monsoons and high humidity.
For commuting only, fabric or mesh may be better.
Tour Master and Fieldsheer produce a long version of most sizes and jackets can be zipper-connected to pants or overpants.
