My take is that there are more similarity on engine then body parts. The early version is the most compact of all 250's and also lightest weight, as the later version try to make the 250 bigger then what it is.

Very cool. Anyway, I see that the passenger pegs attach to the same plate as the rear-set. Do you think it's possible to forgo the passenger pegs and install 1988-2007 or 2008+ rear-sets?
Oh, and I don't think I've seen pics of your exhaust yet!
