Allow me to present "cheap1157led.jpg", the reason why LED bulbs caused all of my 500's turn signals to be on all the time.



Since the running light and brake light are contained in the same LED assembly, it's very easy for poorly wired internals to cause the lights to do unexpected things. The bulb can definitely be on, since power is applied constantly via the taillight circuit.
