So, in preparation to add these resistors I found that the black wire to my right front turn signal was disconnected. I'm not sure how that happened. I didn't see that on my first check for some reason. Lots of unnecessary headache. Without taking anything off the bike, I reconnected it and everything works fine.

I still have new front signals on order because a previous owner added some redneck Tractor Supply looking lights that don't match. Those resistors may be necessary after that mod. It may be wise to hang on to them until then.

Thanks so much for everyone's help. Perfect n00b first post if you ask me. I'm just going to pretend in my own mind that I did some major genius electrical modification and fixed it.
