See post 203 if you haven't already. Running through the tire in 3k miles would require some tracking or really agressive riding. Going through them in 3k km I think would be rather hard. I'm hoping to get 5k out of mine. Might have been better off with a higher mileage tire as I will probably do 9k miles this year but I had to see what all the hoopla was about.
