The second OMRRA weekend was a mixed bag. My first rain race was *awesome*. Largely because the tires and suspension just seemed to click. But also because I'm not generating much lean angle to begin with, so I just didn't back down much. I found myself ahead of 2 experienced guys on 250s and was actually racing and traded places with @
Sirena on her 300 for a while. In the end, I made a few too many errors and lost her, but finished 6th of 8.
The last race... I finished. It was red flagged due to a fatal incident on the front straight. I was at the other end of the track and didn't see anything but the aftermath. I'm sad to say I didn't get a chance to know Kelly Johnson. But I can say that when she lapped me, she was 100% alive, which is something a lot of non-racers might struggle to understand. I prefer to think she finished ahead of us.
