So, my bike I bought third hand only has one key. It is the type cut on both sides. The key is not new with sharp teeth, but works well in the ignition and locks. The two local Kawasaki dealers sell blank keys for 8-15.00 each, but can't cut two-sided keys. Is my only option to buy a blank key and then go to a local locksmith? The local hardware stores can't guarantee cutting two-sided keys either. If I get the number off the seat or helmet lovk, can locksmiths cut a new key from that number? Thanks. Frustrated!!
