A you are correct. Bicycles on the road IS "lawful". But against my opinion of what I believe is "right"... or for that matter "smart" (as a matter of safety)for the bicycle rider or driving public. Saying that they belong... no. If a vehicle cannot keep up and maintain speed with regular traffic then it does NOT belong on highway. That is why they are illegal on the interstates. They do not "belong" there either.

Will it save the world from its consumption of fossil fuels? Doubtful.
