Ok... I tried looking at different threads and had no luck finding a solution. Maybe you guys can help me out...
My 2006 Ninja 250 stalled on me when I was on the freeway. I think it was because I ran out of fuel. I looked inside the fuel tank to see if I had some fuel in there and there was a little bit (but not much). Anyways, I tried starting the bike and it would crank, but not turn over. I continued to try to start it and finally NOTHING! I mean, it won't even crank! I pushed my bike in the emergency lane for about half a mile until I was off the freeway. All in 100 degree weather in Pleasanton, CA. UGH!
My question is: By attempting several times with the ignition button, did I kill the starter?
Luckily, I had a friend that was close by help me 'bump start' the bike to get it to a gas station.
I had to 'bump start' the bike after the fill up and rode it back 40 miles to San Francisco.
So why can't I start the bike the normal way? What the EFF
did I do to my bike?
Anyone? Please help...
