GEICO is terrible for enthusiasts. Folks insured with GEICO aren't allowed to participate in the Cal24; they need to find alternate insurance prior to the event. GEICO put in a clause in their policies two years ago that says you're not covered if you drive (or ride) more than 12 hours in one 24 hour period.

It's the same company that has donated many, many radar & laser units to LEO's across the country, under the guise of safety (read between the lines, the more tickets, the higher the premiums, without a significant rise in covered risk).

If they were the cheapest for us (they're not), I'd still find another company to do business with.
