This thread isn't as much about seeking advice as it is documenting Matilda's* issues.
I picked her up a couple of years ago because I missed riding a lot and the price was right. Unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs that day, so I didn't look at her as closely as I should have. My mistake but I was distracted because the guy's cat decided to attack my dog. If I'd have noticed that the exhaust can was aftermarket I would have passed on the deal then and there.
He said that he'd hired a guy to do the carbs because it was running poorly and that the guy had flaked. He did throw in a set of stands, saddlebags, some oil and new rotors.
The first pic is the bike after I got it home. Then on the stands and then what I found in the carbs. She now has over 7,000 more miles on her than when I got her and is doing fairly well.
