^ i really like restoring late 80's early 90's dirt bikes.... especially 2 stroke because they are so simple and easy and cheap.

Dunno, i like taking a bike that would either get parted out or just sentenced to death one way or another and getting it back into shape and for very little money at that. They just need some TLC, they are great machines and when i am done having my fun with it someone else can enjoy it and at a reasonable price. New dirt bikes are getting to be ridiculously priced, it blows my mind, especially the 2 strokes.

Some new 2 strokes tip the scale at $9k new for what though? a simple engine, steel frame and fancy suspension??? You can get a left over 600 supersport street bike for close to that much, 4 cylinders, 4t fuel injected, fancy electronics ect... boggles the mind

Ill fix this bike up and maybe sell it for $1000, and it will be a blast to ride. Beats paying $9k IMO

I don't think I'm a lot dumber than you thought that I think that I thought I was once.
