I used a Voltmeter to find the +12V wire
You have pre-existing issue, so you need to fix that before changing to LED.

1. power-off
2. unplug both rear turn-signals
3. measure resistance to chassis-ground of each wire in each rear turn-signal harness connector (4 measurements total).
4. what are these measurements?

5. measure resistance between each terminal of each rear turn-signal harness connector
6. what are these two measurements?
