I've learned so many by teaching myself. The only one I've been properly trained on was trombone. All the others were self-taught: baritone, tuba, trumpet, percussion, sax, flute, guitar, bass guitar, tin whistle, (a couple I cannot remember), and now violin. Though I do plan to take a private lesson here and there to address things I may be missing. That will come later lol
I agree though, learning an instrument is awesome.
