Loose plug may rattle and damage threads, but won't hole a piston. It just doesn't have enough energy. Note that centre electrode to ground is still same distance, spark will jump exactly same way. Worst case scenario with loose plug, is it won't fire at all.
Only way to make hole in piston is extremely hot combustion many, many times with lean mixtures for minutes on end, tens of thousands of firings.
