So you're saying that at no time, EVER except for braking, are you putting ANY weight on your hands? You could take your hands off the bars at any moment?

I'm not saying I lean hard on my wrists... clearly wrong. And yeah, I can remove all the weight from my hands when I want to by holding my torso up with my core muscles.

But leaning way over ALL the time without actually leaning ON something? Hmmm.

When I'm fully tucked I can lean on the tank. But when I'm not all the way over, I can't.

When I sat on some supersports last week (see the sportbike ergonomics thread) I found that I could remove the weight from my wrists by leaning my belly against the tank in what (for those bikes) is a normal riding position... semi-tucked. The 250 doesn't lend itself to that for whatever reason.
