The one failsafe method is to just post a link to the video, and folks can click on it to go to the other video site. But if it's a video on youtube, you can embed the video directly into your post rather than just the link. Just get the ID of the youtube video that's at the end of the link (in this case a6Jpcy2GZ1Q), and put it in between an opening and closing youtube tag:

and once you hit post, it will show up right in your own post like this:

Some videos on youtube prevent embedding, so if you do have issues on a specific video you might not be doing anything wrong; the video owner just chose to block embedding.

This now works for vimeo as well. Just get the Vimeo video ID (usually the last 6 or 8 digits from the URL), and put it in between Vimeo tags like this:

[vimeo]1292929[/vimeo]

and it will look like this:

Link to original page on Vimeo.

Now it works for Hulu ([hulu]), Break.com ([break]), and Smugmug ([smugmug]) as well...
