when i bought my 09, in 2013, the tires was original, garage kept bike with 650 miles. those tires were very hard. i had the front end try and walk out from under me a couple times in normal riding. i wouldn't trust old tires, they loose their grip, regardless of tread life left.
nice work on the dust seals. saved some money doing it yourself.
