Started with a Yamaha RD 350 at around age 16. That one was a screamer.
Honda CB 550 Four.
around this time I put a lot of miles on a friend's Kawasaki KZ200.
Yamaha Seca 550 (another favorite; just good, all around bike)
Suzuki GS 550E (never warmed up to that one)
1982 Suzuki GS1100E (loved, loved, loved that bike).

1979 (?) BMW R80/7 (cool old airhead. Wish I still had it)
2004 BMW R1200GS (interesting, but just too tall)
2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 (didn't like; too heavy and engine heat was a killer)
2007 BMW F800S (still have this one; my favorite bike of them all)
2012 Kawasaki 250 Ninja (just bought it about a month ago)
