It can be complicated.
Depends on the organization you're riding with, weekday vs. weekend, memberships, additional fees, etc.
Example:
I did a NYST-run event earlier this month.
Basic membership $49 (one time fee per year)
Fees: $180/day
Surprise camping fee they didn't tell me about until I rolled up to the gate: $20/day
This includes access to coaches but no classrooms.
So that weekend cost me $449 all-in, without the "rain insurance" they try to push on you.
The organization I usually ride with is Tony's Track Days.
Pricing is all-inclusive... there is no "rain insurance," no camping fee, etc. Includes classroom sessions and access to coaching.
Basic (non-member) pricing:
One Weekday - $250 / One Weekend Day - $300
2 Day Event (one of each) - $500
2 Day Event (both weekend days) - $550
Member pricing (memberships are $500/year or $425 if you pay in cash the prior season... break-even is 5 track days so this rewards you if you ride more):
One Weekday - $150 / One Weekend Day - $200
2 Day Event (one of each) - $300
2 Day Event (both weekend days) - $350
Tony also does discounts for cash payment in advance... $15 per day.
Bottom line is that it evens out to somewhere in the vicinity of $160-$180 per day average if you ride enough and go for the membership, which is pretty much in line with the NYST pricing. If you just do the occasional track day, no membership, etc. the per-day costs skyrockets.
