Yeah I thought it would be build up. I don't want to mess with carb cleaning just yet though. Rather buy a bike that doesn't have those issues but we will see. Well the price was around 3000. Ill see what happens with that bike. I have a few more to look at though so I was just wondering what to expect. I've been patient this long I can wait a bit longer ;D. |
Patience is key when purchasing a bike. You're gonna be stuck with it for a while after you buy it, so buy the one you love...
3,000 is very high for a bike that's been sitting for 2.5 years.You will need to get the carbs cleaned, and everything checked/lubed, probably a new air filter (cheap) and you'll have to make sure you give the chain a thorough cleaning... I'd say you're looking at (based on my local prices) 200 bucks give or take in maintenance. I'd wait if it was me
