Eh. If you believe the news, yeah, the "entire" state of California is burning. Same as every year. People who don't live here don't realize just how big a state we are. There's a lot of areas that are fine.
It's always a dramatic and amazing sight to watch the planes and helicopters doing their water/retardant drops. One of the pictures in this year's county fair was of a local freeway after a retardant drop. The exit sign was splashed in pink. I remember seeing that, a couple of years ago so it was interesting to see someone else thought it worth photographing.
