So I know this has been done to death, but I have a question about moving my blinkers to the empty pods on each side of the brake light.

Do you guys pull the socket out of the old blinkers and use that? Or buy a new bulb socket to install in the new pod? I'm having a hard time pulling mine out, and wanted to know if you're better off just purchasing new ones
