For a marathon, the sky is the limit, as long has coffee and gas are available.

For a trip of several days, you will not want to be on the road for more than 8 or 10 hours.

The traveled distance is difficult to calculate, since it depends on so many variables (wind, temperature, rain, traffic, road condition, drag and weight of luggage, gas availability, etc.)

Don't forget to keep lubricating your chain and to keep an eye on the oil level and tires' pressure during the trip !!!
