I was contemplating running the moto 3’s on my 250 but was concerned when I read the specs on the Dunlop site. https://www.dunlopracing.com/product/moto3/
Thanks, any feedback appreciated.

hi Kelvin and welcome to Ninjette!
All fastest AFM 250 guys have used these Moto3 slicks for past 10+ years. Front tyre has pointy profile for fast tip-in. Using it on wider 2.75” rim just rounds out profile to be similar to more-rounded rear. Result is more stable turn-in that’s ever so slightly slower turn-in than narrower rim.
Overall, Moto3 slicks are fastest tyres you can get for 250. They’re lighter and much stickier than stock. Less weight gives you faster acceleration coming of corners. And there’s slight aerodynamic benefit too due to less tyre shoving air aside.
