Thanks for the replies and sorry about the confusion. The picture dubojr1 posted looks like it should work. When I was looking at the damage the first time, I didn't notice the allen wrench slot on the end of the yellow arrow. Looking at it a second time, it looks like it should be easy. Just have to make sure I put everything back on in the same angle as I take it off. In the pic below you can see the shifter peg hits the mini-piston like piece when going into and out of first gear.
