Regarding geometry and suspension, keep in mind two fundamental things:
1) Each change means a balance achieved between two desirable but incompatible features.
A rolling motorcycle is nothing more than a bunch of engineering compromises moving all together and in synchrony.
There is no way around that trade-off: in order to gain some characteristic, you must lose some.
2) There is no perfect setup for all conditions: that is the reason that keeps racing teams so busy at all times.
Any best set-up is only best for some specific conditions (pavement, circuit, weather, competitors, etc.).
