AMA Pro Barber Motorsports Park provisional Daytona Sportbike qualifying results

Graves Yamaha's Josh Herrin grabs provisional pole for the Daytona Sportbike class on Friday at Barber Motorsports Park's AMA Pro eventLEEDS, ALABAMA, SEPT. 24 – At the end of the final weekend of the AMA Pro Road Racing championships at Barber Motorsports Park, Yamaha could walk away with both major titles. Of the two classes, the more likely to move to the Yamaha camp, and break the Suzuki domination of the past eight years, is American SuperBike. Team Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes has a yawning 22 point lead over Tommy Hayden (Rockstar Makita Suzuki) and a three-race winning streak. In Daytona SportBike, Team Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin has the bigger hill to climb. He arrived in Alabama 11 behind points leader Danny Eslick (Geico Powersports/RMR Suzuki) and only one point in front of M4 Monster Energy Suzuki’s Martin Cardenas. He needs every point and the one for the pole is the first he can add.
