Doubtful. Some (most?) jackets have a pocket on the inside that curves around the rider's side and allows for a spare visor to be stowed fairly easily, right up against one side of the wearer's ribcage. My Joe Rocket jacket had one, I used to carry my clear shield in it all the time, and barely noticed it was there.
