Hi Shaun. Our stories are very similar. I'm up the road from you in Campbell River. Like you, I'm new to this forum too. And I also just picked up a 2010 Ninja 250R, a couple of months ago. My bike also needs some TLC, been dropped/crashed on both sides, but it runs very well. I'm slowly repairing fairings, straightening out bent components, and making some upgrades. Lots of fun. Hope your wife enjoys the bike. In my opinion, it's a blast to own and to ride.
