I couldn't stop laughing about the "don't speed". You're too funny!
I had one at 149 on a bike and one at "in excess of 130" (the officer said his car wouldn't go any faster than that). Those were both back in the 55 max. years.
I find it unsafe to continuosly look at the speedo, so I go at the speed I feel comfy with.
I save the fast speeds for the track where it is safe.
