Hello!
I'm on a market for a new (to me) bike, and obviously ninjette came at the top of the candidates list. I started looking through the ads (facebook, craigslist, the obvious places) and got a feeling, that the sellers are high on something: maybe legalized marijuana is to blame, I don't know.. $3000 for a 2008 bike with over 10k miles, that was down couple of times with cracked/scratched fairings seems way too much to me. And there are many bikes priced like this.
Is it me, completely misunderstanding the market, or people are really overpricing their bikes?
What do you think?

for reference: I bought my then 3 year old ninjette with two hundred miles on the clock for $2400 few years back. I got lucky? I'm in NYC vicinity, if that matters
