I just sold a clean 2011with 24k km and 12 months rego for $1600AU or around $1200US.
I sold it within 3 days of advertising for the advertised price.
It's coming into winter here and sales are slow, plus not many people like the old carbie bikes anymore.
The best time for buying is generally always going to be coming into winter, I just picked up my new/old clean as low km zx6r when the weather was getting cold.
Plus when I turned up his missus was pushing him to sell so they can have more cash for a holiday they were just about to leave on, I used that info to low ball and wave some cash under her nose.
I sort of felt guilty in the end when the 2 young kids came out, but only for a minute.......the minute I rode off the joy pushed the guilt right away.
