keep it simple.
what changed? your stator cover. whats responsible for timing inside your stator cover? stator pickup coil. open your stator cover up, check the stator with an ohm test. check the pickup coil is positioned correctly and then check it with an ohm test also. make sure they are both actually connected.
without that tiny little coil functioning correctly, no spark.
