I have owned 4 to date. How do I feel the two 250's compare? Honestly, after riding them back to back.. The only thing I prefer on the Ninja 250R is the ergonomics. It is a more upright seating position and there is a lot more leg room. Motor and handling wise, the CBR250RR blows the Ninja 250R out of the water. It has higher top speed, it out accelerates, it brakes harder (I have EBC pro-lite rotors and HH sintered pads on the CBR250... maybe that helps), and it handles better. It is a terrible shame that Honda stopped making bikes with that 4 cylinder motor.
That doesn't mean that I don't love the Ninja 250R. I enjoy riding it just as much but it doesn't quite give me that hooligan grin on my face when I ride it.
And yes, that was a bike auction. I go every year. Never bought a bike though. Its fun just to look through them all.
