They actually do save alot off motorcyclists lives or prevent crashes, i would not ride a ninjette with the stock exhaust. Imagine your in a blind spot and some retard slides over because he didn't see you or hear you? I can safely say that has never happened to me, people even tend to move more to the side of their lane or even out of my way because they simply hear me without even seeing me.
Now dont get me wrong, there are douche bag squids who rev their bikes and go up to 9 thousand rpms in first gear in a neighborhood to make 5 year olds playing ball look at them.
