Added some detail with a touch of red -

I put both parts in a drill and spun them while sanding to get a brushed spiral look, then hit the washer part with Anodized Red powder and the bolt with clear powder. Both pieces are steel, so you couldn't actually anodize them. The red didn't photograph accurately, it's actually a bit deeper and has a duller finish.
