Was looking at a Tacoma myself but decided to wait and see how the Ranger looked when it comes out. The thing about the Tacoma is that while it's a good truck the design just looks like it's 10 years old already while it's new.

But the one huge benefit to the Tacoma, for me at least, it's still available in a manual transmission. And it's a very good one at that. I generally hate automatic transmissions, and the way it seems to take an eternity to decide what gear to be in when I tromp on the gas.
