After Subaru had the decade long head gasket debacle I will never recommend one. Now the new cars have oiling problems and eat the pistons....plenty of TSB's about it. Sorry, not a fan. All these Subaru's have the issue, talk about a crap load of bull spit! Guaranteed replacement by 120K miles.
These vehicles all have cylinder head gasket related issues:
Impreza 1999 to 2011
Forester 1999 to 2010
Legacy 2000 to 2009
Outback 2000 to 2009
Baja 2003 to 2006
That said.....
Scion SC or TC is a fun little scoot.
Hyundai Genesis Turbos are fun too.
350Z would be a grin maker also!
