Fighting tension
I realized I was really tense this past week (relative fighting cancer), I have had a short fuse (apologies to people on here in advance), and I am just overly sensitive to things lately. So I've been doing a little yoga to help relax me and "center" myself once again. I did yoga for a year or two previously and loved it...then school took over my life and I have drifted away from it.
I did one workout and immediately started to feel better. I think I NEED to keep this up, especially when things get rough. I still plan on cycling and running, I just need something to help my inner-self. Yoga does work wonders...focusing on the breath as well as stretching out those tense muscles. After my workout I said to myself, "You really need to do this more often". I plan on doing so.
Anyone here try yoga?
Been slowly getting back into it to help with back and shoulder tension, as well as overall strength and flexibility.
