From my experience the OEM cable is too short for the R6 throttle so what I was forced to do was take a hacksaw to about 1/2 a cm of the plastic guide that is inside the throttle housing. It's the black plastic piece that curves and is the last piece that covers the cable. After that the throttle could be closed all the way and the idle could then be adjusted.

As far as its performance I like it a lot you have to get used to it a little bit because it pulls hard in the lower rpms then you have to twist your wrist the rest of the way for the upper band. I'm not sure how everyone else managed to get theirs on without modifying the accel. cable but I did have to modify mine or else the throttle stayed open. I could have filed down the tube itself but I didn't want to lose the leverage (would defeat the purpose).
