Annual Yosemite loop - Oct 2016

Link to original page on YouTube.

Looking over my Spotwalla map and noticed that, once again, I had not yet ridden over Sonora or Tioga. Must go riding!

But first, need to see if I can take the car off road. So, headed south to try going to a small ghost town I know about and while the road was sweet, a wash out kept me from continuing up the canyon. Still had a grand adventure and got to play with a possible dash cam using my spare Contour.

Got the Ninja out since the Honda has a leaking fork seal. Headed towards Topaz where I stopped for a light breakfast, and then made my way towards Sonora. The Marines were out getting ready to do something. Was neat seeing them but kept the camera off.

The Pass was clear with snow covered mountains and it was a beautiful ride over the Sierra. Onwards to Sonora, then south on 49, before turning up 120 and playing on Priest Grade for awhile. Wound my way towards Yosemite and rode through the park. Light traffic, cool while not cold, and a very enjoyable ride.

I also got a new headset since my SMH-5 battery only lasts a whopping 30 minutes. So played around with my new 10C on the way home. Hopefully this will make for some more enjoyable videos.
